Antique Cabochon Carnelian Solid Yellow Gold Ring

Carnelian has been most prized since ancient times and such is an ambient stone with glowing orb like translucenty and opulence.

This antique wonder is best known to be a standard cabochon cut to capture maximum light and produce radiant glow like not many other gemstones can.

It has warm ethereal presence of old king and queen days at the height of nobility times.

I can imagine this being worn at candle light dinners amongst wealthy company and elite gatherings of kind.

The stand out presence is notable and of exceptional colour quality—orange and red shades all hand crafted in high carat gold traditionally set in collet style notoriously a favourite of the era with an exceptional claw overload to secure safety.

Wear is commensurate with age. A polish of the stone is all that would be needed if so desired however it is not nessesary and adds to the authentic antique era of the stone.

Inclusions are visible in areas of the stone and in photos as they usually are in a big gemstone which proves that it is natural, please note carnelian is not known to have any routine treatment of any kind to this day.
